Funded by Waikato District Health Board to provide assistance for holders of current Community Service Cards to attend hospital appointments in Thames and Waikato.
Volunteer drivers also transport patients who are unable to drive.
Mobility Van - CILT Thursday bookings - 07 866 8358
This Van transports locals to and from their homes for a weekly shopping trip to Thames on Thursdays leaving Coromandel at 9am and departing from Pak 'n' Save in Thames at 2pm.
Bookings are essential there is a fee of $12 return and $6 one way.
9 seats are available, and it also caters for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
The Van is owned by the Coromandel Community Services Trust. CILT organises all of the bookings and the drivers are volunteers.
St Johns Health Shuttle - to book 07 846 9992
The shuttle mainly takes dialysis patients to Waikato Hospital 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Leaves Coromandel at 5:30am and departs from Waikato Hospital at 2.00pm
