|Description of services:||All drivers are volunteers;
Drivers provide their own vehicles (purchase, registration, insurance, maintenance are their cost);
Cambridge Red Cross reimburses drivers $25.00 per journey;
Donations to Red Cross from clients are appreciated. 74% of reimbursement costs are covered by donations from clients. There is no demand for a donation - all journeys requested by clients are fulfilled.
From Cambridge to any medical appointment in Hamilton - predominantly the Waikato Hospital but many other medical facilities are the location of the appointment. A new service to medical centres in Cambridge is available to support vulnerable clients.
The client is picked up from their home address, taken to their appointment where the driver waits for the client at reception before returning to the client’s home.

|Description of services:||Door to door health shuttle service between Te Awamutu and Waikato Hospital, plus private medical specialist services in Hamilton. Six-seater Ford Transit van and up to 8 seater van becoming available in 3-4 months time. Wheelchair and electric step access to vehicles, wheelchairs/walkers and child car seats available. Personnel available to escort clients to clinic facilities. Bookings essential by 3.00pm the day before.|

|Description of services:||Cancer Society volunteer drivers provide transport for people with cancer to enable them to attend treatment at hospitals and cancer-related medical appointments in Hamilton (including Huntly, Te Awamutu and Cambridge. Volunteers use their own cars and To use the driving service you must be mobile and able/well enough to walk to and from the car. We are not able to drive people who are unable to use a seatbelt or on continuous oxygen.
The volunteer driving service operates from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. The volunteer driving service does not operate on weekends or public holidays.
