hr grey
The Waikato Community Transport Forum is a collection of Waikato community transport providers and other related organisations and individuals, who come together to share information, network, and discuss issues and ideas around rural transport in the Waikato region.

This website has been developed to provide community transport providers and agencies a central point to access information related to community transport in the Waikato region.

Why We Do What We Do

Community Transport Providers offer transport to those in need, where no other suitable public transport option exists. This could include transport for health, education or social reasons.

The Waikato region has a growing elderly population, therefore there is increasing pressure on health and transport services.

Community Transport Providers are a lifeline for our rural population, ensuring that people are able to continue living in rural areas, and still access the services they require.
