Forum updates

Since 2011, the Waikato Community Transport Forum has brought together people and organisations who are involved in, connected to, or supporting community transport across the region. Participation is largely made up of community transport providers and the agencies that work alongside them, and as the forum has evolved it has grown to include partners from health, social services, local government, funders, disability advocacy, and other related sectors.

We have an active network whose members enjoy the opportunity to share ideas, connect with one another, strengthen their services, and increase the visibility of the community transport sector. You are welcome to join our mailing list whether you simply wish to stay informed or actively contribute to the conversation. We encourage participation from anyone whose work aligns with community transport outcomes; this helps ensure a broad understanding of challenges, opportunities, and innovation across the sector, while keeping the focus on supporting providers and communities in the Waikato.

We typically meet quarterly, and stay in touch in between to keep the network informed and connected. Meetings are usually held in Hamilton, with an online option available. If you have the link and are unsure of how to join Teams, you can view a quick guide here.

Check back on this page for updates or join our mailing list to keep informed.
